    BOND LAB TECHNICIAN
    JOB SUMMARY: The Bond Lab Technician is responsible for the bonding or debonding of sputtering targets and backing plates.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    *Know and follow all appropriate procedures (bonding, cleaning, etc)
    *Cleaning of targets and backing plates
    *Cleaning of bonded assemblies
    *Maintains bonding and cleaning records and all necessary paperwork
    *Maintains training documents
    *Operates hot plates, Ion plater and all hand tools used
    *Can perform complex metallic and epoxy bonds
    *Knows how to read drawings
    *Maintains supplies needed for target finishing/Bond Lab
    *Knows all functions of target finishing and bond lab
    *Can perform SAP transactions
    *Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations
    *Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures
    *Requires supervision

    PROTECTIVE CLOTHING REQUIRED: Requires the use of safety glasses, safety shoes, a respirator, and protective clothing such as a uniform or lab coat. Other, more specialized protective gear may be required occasionally.

    * Complete fabrication through deburring and grinding for finishing parts
