What’s Needed?
2-5 years' industrial mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry.

Problem solving skills and good communication skills are required.
Comfortable using computers
Ability to work well within a team and independently
Comfortable with occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs

Our client in the Collingwood AREA is looking to add a Maintenance Process technician to their team on a STRAIGHT DAY shift.  If you have strong PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting skills and have hands on robotics experience and looking for a change, this is it!

The Role:

Programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Allen Bradley, TI, and Schneider Modicon) with a focus on troubleshooting unplanned Down Time events, debugging, repairing, improving, installing of new or modified production and test equipment from the perspective of electrical, mechanical and vision systems.
• Lead a team from project design to installation.
• Modify older machine controls to meet modern day code requirements.
• Experience using ABB Robots in a manufacturing environment.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives improving existing methods, systems and looking for better ways of approaching a problem.
• Very good understanding of electrical drawing packages
• Prepare technical documentation, user and maintenance manuals, setup procedures etc.

What’s the Job?

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic processing equipment Read blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures Repair and replace defective parts and equipment Assemble and relocate machinery Operate lift machines as required to repair machines and equipment 

What’s Needed?

3-5 years as a licensed Industrial Millwright Sound understanding of pumps, conveyors, granulators, pneumatics and working knowledge of industrial tools Experience with MIG, TIG, and Arc welding equipment demonstrated ability to read hydraulic schematics understanding of PM schedules
