Salary: $30-$40.00 per hour, based on experience
Regular Hours: Monday thru Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Duties & Key Responsibilities:
• Set up, operate, and maintain manual and CNC lathes and mills to produce parts according to specifications

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of machinists to ensure they meet productivity and quality standards

• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are adhered to, creating a safe working environment for all team members
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure materials are available for production
• Generate regular reports on production metrics, team performance, and machine shop KPIs for management review

What will you be doing?

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Performing electrical and CNC machine repairs and mechanical alignments. Repairing production and non-production equipment, including broaches, grinders, and polishers. Maintaining and repairing support equipment such as conveyors, elevators, and blenders. Completing regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Moving and installing machinery and automation components.

Electrical Expertise: Experience with high voltage (460 volt, 3-phase circuits), motor controls, and low voltage systems. Mechanical Skills: Proficiency in pipe fitting, welding, and general mechanics. Troubleshooting Abilities: Capable of diagnosing machine issues and performing repairs. Experience with CNC Machines: Preferred experience with machines like Okuma, Makino, Fuji, and Fanuc controls. Self-Motivated: Able to work with minimal supervision and be available for overtime when needed. Team Player: Comfortable collaborating with a diverse group of coworkers. Stable Work History: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.

What will you be doing?

Perform mechanical and electronic repairs of all equipment including conveyor system, printer and sorting equipment. Respond to equipment break down or emergency situations with urgency and expediency.  

Complete preventative maintenance according to TQM and vendor operating standards.  

Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner. 

Communicate and/or escalate serious equipment issues to the Lead Technician. 

Study, review and utilize vendor technical manuals, publications or updates, as needed, to remain familiar with all changes or modifications to equipment.  

Train, assist and guides other site technicians.  

Utilize inventory, pm schedule and work order systems, and maintains the spare parts/supply inventory. Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner. Perform all additional duties as required.

Industrial Mechanical Technician – $25/hour 
Manchester, PA

Manpower is seeking candidates who are bringing a high level of building systems, troubleshooting and maintenance skills and experience to join a company that has been thriving in York for over 10 years.

3rd Shift Schedule
2:30am – 10:30am  
10:00pm - 6:30am

Train on 1st Shift   9am – 5pm
Monday through Friday 

What will you bring?
• Knowledge of building systems, wet sprinkler systems, compressed air systems, conveyor repair and plumbing. 
• Experience with HVAC systems including split systems, make up air units, air handling units, gas regulators and components of supply / exhaust systems 
• Prior forklift certification/experience preferred (scissor lift specifically) 
• Knowledge of light mig welding and mounting systems fabrication 
• Ability to shift working hours as required to complete projects and component replacements 

What will you do?
• Provide daily communication of all pertinent information regarding building infrastructure, systems operation and maintenance to departmental management and maintenance team.
• Interpret specifications, schematics, operation and maintenance manuals
• Assist Maintenance Manager in managing 3rd party building, mechanical, HVAC, and electrical contractors conducting service, repair, and new contract work.
