    Manpower of WV is seeking Workforce Trainers for an employer in Wayne, Lincoln, and Putnam counties. The trainers will supervise and conduct pre-employment training/certification programs to improve participants workforce readiness skills.


    Implement virtual, in-person, and/or electronic training programs focused on workforce readiness.
    Follow prescribed components of developed curriculum.
    Maintain accurate participant training records and reports.
    Work cooperatively and collaboratively with various departments and provide requested information and reports.
    Perform other duties as assigned.


    Professional four-year degree with emphasis in Education or Business.
    Previous supervisory experience and experience in training adults.
    Ability to build rapport with trainees.
    Knowledge of computers and various software programs.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Strong organizational and presentation skills.
    Teach or instruct work-related subjects to students who have graduated or left high school. Includes correspondence school instructors; industrial, commercial and government training instructors; and adult education teachers and instructors. Teaching may take place in public or private schools whose primary business is education or in a classroom associated with an organization whose primary business is other than education.

    Manpower is excited to announce the search for a Technology Support Specialist for an academic institution in the Elkins area.
    The successful candidate will serve as "the face of" Information Services and be the first contact point for all Information Services customer requests.
    The qualified candidate will:

    The successful candidate will:
    * Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher. A degree in a computer or technical field is preferred, but not required. Technical certifications (i.e., A+, Net+, Microsoft, etc.) are preferred, but not required.
    * Have significant professional experience working in a customer service setting. D&E "customers" include faculty, staff, students and campus visitors.
    * Record, track, document and prioritize Help Desk requests, solve routine issues and escalate complex issues.
    * Meet or exceed weekly and monthly quotas for Help Desk request completion.
    * Hire, train and supervise student employees, including conducting written evaluations.
    * Create documentation and instructional tools (screen capture, FAQ, knowledge base, etc.) and make recommendations for additions to learning aids and tools.
    * Manage and maintain the Help Desk software used by Information Services and the Maintenance departments, including creating reports, updating database templates and fields, and designing customer-focused web-based interface.
    * Have the ability to complete most job tasks anywhere on- or off-campus, using a variety of campus-provided devices: laptop, tablet, smartphone.
    * Install and maintain end-user equipment and instructional technology, including but not limited to, laptops, workstations, digital projectors, SmartBoards, SmartPodiums, IntelliBoards, lab computers, iClickers, iPads, smartphones, printers, copiers, etc.
    * Be available Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30, as well as some evenings and weekends.
    * Be able to carry and lift 50 pounds. Also requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing. Must be comfortable working on ladders or in constrained spaces (crawlspaces, building access areas, etc.)
    * Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.

    Compliance screenings will be conducted.
