    Prior laboratory experience

    GENERAL SCOPE:
    Under the direction of the Controller, this position is responsible for assigned accounting functions, applying knowledge of accounting methods, procedures and terms.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    * Develop a competency in utilizing the current and future ERP systems.
    * Processes Accounts Receivable.
    * Reconciliation of various accounts.
    * Assist the Sales Process & Planning Administrator as directed.
    * Assists with sales tax return preparation.
    * Collates monthly check run, match accounts payable checks to invoices, and prepares for review and signature.
    * Performs other related General Accounting duties and special projects as required.
    * Interacts with management to address ad hoc requests.

    We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Lab Technician in the Evansville area. This is a first shift position that will pay $17 an hour.

    Position will be a laboratory role that is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

    Laboratory Technician. Prepares and analyzes samples using multiple analytical techniques in a quality control atmosphere. Able to follow established methods and standard operating procedures while utilizing preferred laboratory techniques. Operates, calibrates and maintains laboratory instruments and equipment. Effectively performs duties required in the routine maintenance of a safe and efficient laboratory environment which is compliant with company and regulatory guidelines. Maintains current, complete, legible notebooks and laboratory records in compliance with good scientific and regulatory practices. Communicates directly with management and other departments on potential quality issues through prompt and detailed verbal and written communication. Assists with investigations pertaining to quality issues. Contributes to trouble shooting of methodology and instrumentation. Comfortable working in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.

    Job Requirements/Education:

    BS/BA degree in a natural science (chemistry, biology, food science, etc.) preferred. Non-degreed candidates with equivalent skill and experience will also be considered. Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrates ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience using Microsoft based computer applications a must. Familiarity with ICP-OES, GC, HPLC, Spectroscopy, wet chemical techniques, and laboratory information management computer systems preferred. Experience working in a GMP and FDA regulated environment preferred. Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to achieve results while operating within company policies and procedures.

    We are hiring both 1st and 2nd Shift Material Handlers to perform shipping, receiving, storage and order fulfillment services in our Frederick warehouse. Job responsibilities include picking, packing, sorting, counting, and correctly processing items for storage and/or shipment. On a daily basis you will receive materials, verify the quality, type, and amount based on packing documents, and monitor quality standards to ensure customers receive correct product and in the time requested.

    Warehouse experience in logistics preferred. The ability to follow detailed directions and demonstrated experience meeting deadlines helpful. Basic computer skills are a must. Pay rate is $13.00 - $15.00/hour based on experience and shift.

    Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check is required.
