    Enjoy long drives on the highway? Looking for something short term throughout the summer? This job may be the one for you!

    Our client is looking for field researchers to update and expand their database of junction divergences on major Canadian highways. You will use a digital camera fixed in the interior of your car to film pre-determined exit and junction points while driving at normal highway speeds.

    This job is a wonderful way to see different areas of the country, and to get paid to do so. However, you must be comfortable with 100% travel, working by yourself on the road every day, and be free of any commitments at home while working on the project. Most of all, you must love driving as you will cover thousands of miles in a relatively short period of time.

    Heavy use of your own car is required. This position is ideal for independent, self-motivated people who love to travel and enjoy being out "on the road." Once the project starts, you will be away from home for a few weeks until you cover all the required highways.

    Candidate Requirements
    * A valid drivers license with good driving record
    * A reliable automobile with current auto insurance
    * An activated cellular phone for ease of communication from the field (new smartphone, tablet, or PC is not required)
    * Able to read and understand maps and find specific locations in unfamiliar areas
    * Good sense of direction and ability to find your way around
    * Able to attend the training session in June or July and commit to the extent of the assignment (roughly 6-8 weeks of field work, almost all of it away from home)

    What's in it for you?
    * Competitive Wage
    * Monday - Friday, 40 hour work week
    * Automobile stipend working per day
    * Lodging stipend working per day
    * Cellphone allowance
    * Gas expenses and highway tolls reimbursed

    There will be a paid training session in Toronto or Ottawa in June or July. Candidates must be able to commit to this project until completion, expected to be approximately 6-8 weeks after hitting the road.
