What you will be doing?

•    Learns and gains an understanding of the various Information Technology (IT) infrastructure components used in a corporate environment and their interdependencies.
•    Understands Cloud-based Technologies and integration.
•    Participates in the execution of test plans and the implementation of new technology.
•    Possesses a depth of knowledge to utilize integrated IT solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft InTune, Windows Autopilot and others.
•    Has a proficient understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
•    Understands how to configure and support a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, including hosted applications.
•    Knows how to manage and upkeep accuracy of client asset inventory records.
•    Creates deployment jobs using MS PowerShell to automate installation packages, including managing the deployment lifecycle.


What will you bring?

Qualifications:

•    The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Technology with 1 to 3 years related experience or 5 to 7 years combination of post-secondary education and related experience with some professional development.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

•    Excellent knowledge of current Microsoft Windows Client and Server operating systems
•    Previous experience with ITSM tool(s)

The following would be considered an asset:

•    Microsoft and other industry certifications
•    Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
•    Experience with Backup & Recovery software
•    Working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMWare ESXi
•    Ability to develop VB and PowerShell scripts to automate Microsoft Windows
•    Knowledge of Microsoft SQL syntax and the ability to develop queries
•    Knowledge of FreshService ITSM tool.
•    ITIL certification
