Job Description

Manpower is hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic who will be responsible for repairs and maintaining machinery/mechanical equipment. With your 3+ years of experience working as a Maintenance Mechanic within a manufacturing environment, you will be able to be part of a winning team. If you are in between jobs and looking to get back to work during these uncertain times Manpower would like to speak with you!



What's in it for you:

* 6 - 9 - month assignment

* 2Nd Shift: Monday - Friday: 4pm - 12:30am (30 min. lunch)

* Pay rate: $22/hr.

* Work Location: Sylmar, CA



What you will be doing:

* Repairing and maintaining equipment such as the following: engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment



The skills we are looking for:

* Must have a High School Diploma of GED

* Must have at least 3+ years of applicable experience working within a manufacturing environment

* Must have knowledge in the operation/function of site equipment related to the manufacture of site products

* Must have knowledge of a variety of manufacturing/assembly procedures

* Must be able to trouble shoot machinery

* Must have experience in mechanical repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanic type of equipment
