Job Description

Immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Team lead in Jonesboro, Arkansas.



Hourly Team leads are responsible for ensuring a seamless execution of staffing needs across their assigned shift.



Summary of essential job functions



1. Employee Relations - 50%



· Monitor hourly reports, notify employees and the Manpower office to recruit for back fills I.e. cover for people who are scheduled off, reaching 1,733 hour tenure, call-ins etc.



· Work with supervisors to gain feedback on associate performance and resolve issues as needed.



· Effectively communicate via phone, email to send correspondence as it relates to general site needs etc.



· Own all duties of the PeopleNet time keeping system reports. Enter and verify times as needed for the assigned shift. This includes but is not limited to assigning badges and editing missed punches



· Must be able to build strong relationships with not only the Manpower employees on the shift, but also the client leads



· Assist with payroll issues /concerns and properly advise on how to correct those as needed.



· Updates rosters and communicate attendance issues on daily basis



· Complete and issue corrective actions with support of the Client Delivery Manager



· Monitor proper uniform and PPE compliance



2. Visibility - 50%



· Visible to Manpower employees and Client Leadership at meetings and on the production floor.



· Conduct safety observations, cover safety topics in pre-shift meetings, and provide in the moment coaching to strengthen a culture of safety.



· Practice, monitor, and enforce GMP to ensure quality and efficient production.



· Educate and monitor employees on Manpower/Clients work rules and standards as covered in orientation materials



Requirements:



Must have clean background and HS diploma/GED

Must have previous supervisor experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
