Job Description

The primary duties of the employee are (but not limited to) the following:

1. Communicate and obtain an update of overall performance in the shift with the parting Supervisor at the beginning of shift.

2. Review Production Schedule, prepared by the Production Manager.

3. Daily inspect raw materials to be used in the manufacturing process.

4. Daily inspect work in process during the shift.

5. Daily inspect goods in staging area.

6. Occasionally inspect condition of manual tools utilized by the operators.

7. Issue tools to operators on a need basis.

8. Record and communicate any problem in relation to non-conforming product, process and quality system.

9. Stop the production of non-conforming product.

10. Initiate appropriate corrective action(s), recommending or providing solutions.

11. Ensure employees are following Work Instructions, Inspection Plans and safety rules.

12. Understand and be able to train the duties of Machine Operators as needed.

13. Maintain stock of supplies on hand for operators. (i.e., labels, production cards, inspection logs, etc.)

14. Any other paper work (such as attendance reports, etc.) that may be required.

15. Follow all established EFEC procedures.

16. Perform any others duties that may be assigned to you by management.


You must be able to perform these duties on or about: 30 Days

1. Check operating conditions of each machine.

2. Ensure employees are at their workstation performing their job and have the necessary tools and supplies to perform their duties.

3. Maintain a daily log of defective raw materials.

4. Assist operators as necessary.

5. Inform the arriving Lead/Supervisor of overall performance in your shift.
