Manpower is currently hiring full-time temporary Administrative Assistant (MHE Department) for our client Purolator. This position is based in the office located at 1151 Martin Grove Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 4W7. * Shift hours: Monday to Friday (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM)

What is the job?



* Schedule the virtual cafés and coffee with leaders.

* Organize year in Retrospect MHE Management meeting

* Organize Yearly Town Hall

* Maintenance of training records, working at heights, arc flash etc.

* Managing contractor training records, WSIP, Liability Insurance, WorkSafe BC, etc. (to be stored on network and accessible by all Maintenance Managers and Supervisors)

* New employee onboarding needs

* Point of Contact for outside of MHE department requests like Corporate Communications

* Quarterly Department Communication newsletter

* Misc. like vacations coverage etc.

* Scheduling of mandatory yearly trainings. i.e. forklift, aerial platform etc.

* Employee exit follow-ups (de-activation of their accounts, management of laptop, phone etc.)

* Organizing and updating contact information and distribute them to terminals

* Record keeping and renewal of all certificates for safety equipment i.e. cranes, hoists, slings, harnesses etc.

* Record keeping of all blank forms i.e. Vacation pay request form, LOTO log sheets etc.

* Assist with loading maintenance procedures to PQLP on Puronet.

* Record keeping of all downtime logs and corrective actions following RCM analysis.

* Record keeping of all Operations related data to compare YOY maintenance performance.



What do you bring to the job?

* Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience in word processing and spreadsheet applications (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)

* Typing speed- 60 w.p.m. minimum

* 3-5 years of prior professional experience

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Previous related experience and excellent telephone manner

* Strong decision making and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and follow up

* Previous administrative and technical background

* Excellent organizational skills - ability to work independently, prioritize and meet tight deadlines

* Steel toed boots
