Job Description

Assembler - LI

3rd Shift (Must be able to train on 1st shift hours)

The Assembler is responsible for a variety of diversified coil winding operations.

Job Duties:

* You will perform coil winding operations on a variety of coils and for different applications, size, design, etc., on small to medium coils.

* You will set-up winding machines and related equipment for size and type of wire, number of turns, type and size of insulation, etc.

* You will perform basic soldering operations.

* You will adjust fixtures and tension devises for proper winding tension, assemble special coils for proto-type jobs, and tag or label finished coils.

* You will provide proper resistance when winding coils and testing of finished coils

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

* No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the work location will be considered.

* Must have a high school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

* Minimum 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment.

* Trades training (or equivalent) of soldering and brazing operations.

* Familiarity with different size and types of wire stock.

* Soldering training/experience

Position Success Criteria :

* Must be able to walk/stand for an 8 hours shift with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Must be able to lift 44 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
