Job Description

This is a Direct Hire position with an international leading manufacturing company specializing in providing solutions on delivering safe drinking water and energy efficient heating and cooling infrastructures.



Hours: 6pm-6pm, 4nights on and 4 nights off

Pay Range: $28.92-$40.94/hr DOE



Responsibilities and Activities

*Applies expert advanced trouble shooting techniques for the repair of equipment back to operational status. The scope will include an expert high level of comprehension and diagnostics of control operations, PLC theory, and ladder logic connect to PLC, down to lines of logic. Duties include test, calibrate, adjust, repair, and maintain mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

*Able to accurately interpret and use technical documentation and schematics to solve operational problems on equipment.

*Skills and experience in creating and editing ladder and relay logic. Must also have a working knowledge of Visual Basic, and other programs used for control.

*Follows up to ensure the fix was correct for the reported problem.

*Skills and experience in creating and editing ladder and relay logic. Must also have a working knowledge of Visual Basic, and other programs used for control.

*Experience in installing, maintaining, controls components, sensors & scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters and encoders.

*This role also will help to coach others in team and providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the facility.

*Documents all work performed, parts used and other data as needed on the work order, posts work hours and closes work order.

*Performs preventive maintenance work instructions accurately and completes required documentation on all equipment following established schedules.

*Assembles, installs mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components and equipment following documentation or verbal instructions accurately and on time. Mentorship of other maintenance staff for skill advancement.



Experience and Education

*Requires a high school diploma

*Prefer successfully completed trade school certificate in electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic or HVAC course work with 5 years of experience OR Minimum of 7 years' experience in an industrial maintenance repair position performing in the above scope of work in lieu of education

*Ability to demonstrate the Technical Skills required for this position.

*Ability to demonstrate the operations of test equipment like a volt meter.

*Knowledge of electrical formulas to apply in diagnostics. Working knowledge of PLC and logic control and interlocks.

*Passing score of an assessment test for the position.

*Expert knowledge of PLC's, VFD's, Robotics.

*Experience programming Allen Bradley P.L.C.s.
