Job Description


To properly perform any bakery line job by producing acceptable product, while ensuring a proper production

Flow and quality product.


1. Depositing all product for shift in proper manner

2. Operating all equipment (assemble, utilize, and disassemble)

3. Operating digital electric and balance beam scales in order to accurately maintain correct depositing weight standards and topping fruit

4. Performing all jobs on bakery line (including, but not limited to, setting up depositors, pumps, box maker, loading boxes, pie pressing, greasers, pan loading to greaser, spot shot, spreading, leveling, crust weighing, dough machine, tamping, tray papering, spraying, grease wiping, check weighing,racking/unracking, topping, oven feeding, and using air lines safely

5. Cleaning work area (including, but not limited to, removing grease bucket/pans from around machine and removing trash, and cleaning depositing equipment)

6. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area

7. Must be able to perform job duties at a pace that is consistent with the pace that is set by the Manager/Supervisor and Team Leader of the line

8. Must be willing and able to cross-train

9. Must be able to operate manual pallet jacks in a safe manner

10. Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions

11. Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP'S)

12. Must adhere to the plant HACCP plans

13. Performs other duties as assigned


1. Must communicate with others to ensure proper production flow to avoid line downtime

2. Must communicate with appropriate personnel to ensure quality of mixed product

3. Job tasks will be performed in a safe and professional manner and oriented to prevent the

disruption of the production line

4. Assist in the training of temporary employee(s) on the line


* Must own good interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with others

* Ability to promote teamwork

* Must be able to operate elevator properly & safely
