Building Maintenance Technician

You will enjoy a standard M-F schedule with opportunities to earn generous OT pay. As the Maintenance Technician you will be eligible for paid training and tuition reimbursement so you can learn and develop your skills. This organization hires from within and brings advancement potential in the short-term for the right industrious candidate.

Your duties include:

* Basic building maintenance to include painting, general repairs, troubleshooting electrical, HVAC and plumbing, landscaping and snow removal

* Maintaining and repairing physical structures, basic carpentry

* Operating a company vehicle to travel to local work sites

* Using hand and power tools

* Using a work order system to prioritize and plan maintenance tasks

* Ensuring building and equipment security

* Working 8am -4:30pm, M-F, 30 minute lunch break + 30 minutes in work breaks

The ideal candidate will have:

* HS or GED

* Building maintenance or related experience is preferred

* Driver's license and good driving record

* Ability to read, write and interpret instructions

* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

* Ability to operate hand and power tools and landscaping equipment

* Flexibility for occasional OT hours

* A desire to learn and grow a career with an organization that offers long-term stability

This position offers:

* Starting pay of $17.45/hour with a rate increase in 6 months
