Job Description


* Discover opportunities for feedstock sourcing from waste collection, plastic recycling, and plastic manufacturing value chains. Develop and understand key market drivers for potential feedstocks to inform procurement decisions. Develop key relationships within the waste and recycling industries. Use industry experience to develop partnership options that provide win/win opportunities. Collaborate with key partners in RDC, R&D, to understand key requirements for polymer use for feedstock sources in mechanical and advance recycling processes. Collaborate with Procurement, Technology and Manufacturing to qualify suppliers. Partner with colleagues as part of other cross-functional teams including RDC, manufacturing, business, SHE, etc. to drive Circular Economy initiatives. Provide timely communications to management and project stakeholders by communicating project needs, value, priorities, and decisions to ensure project success. Execute NDAs, LOIs, MOUs, and contracts to procure material for ECO products. Support internal ISCC+ certification and ensure compliance to standards. Qualify suppliers in collaboration with marketing, sustainability, technology, and manufacturing teams. Represent Americas region in Global feedstock waste council for ECO products.


* Create an aligned Category strategy including elements of: Global market intelligence (including local, regional, global data). Supplier evaluation and management. Supplier portfolio strategy o Internal and external partnerships o Cost structure evaluation and benchmarking. Cost reduction initiatives. Improvement initiatives regarding risk reduction, increased flexibility, etc. Integrate into quality and regional process initiatives. Evaluate and manage suppliers and supply portfolio (in the sense of a "key account manager"). Create value add and bottom line impact such as cost savings/cost avoidance, risk reduction, higher delivery flexibility, increased competitiveness, more efficient processes, supplier innovation, etc. Design optimal logistics strategy to ensure supply security for assigned categories. Lead and participate in cross functional strategic projects. Generate Contract Review and Approval Forms (CRAFs) and SAP Outline Agreements

(OLAs) as required to receive approvals for supply of raw materials. Ongoing Maintenance of CRAFs and OLAs as required throughout the year. Generate Purchase Orders (if needed) for securing Raw Material. Ensure all procurement policies and procedures including the Delegation of Authority are followed throughout the procurement process. Maintain a good understanding of market trends and supplier developments in the Chemical and associated building blocks industries. Resolve regional product stewardship requirements in the region. Support Eco/Sustainable product brand projects and developments. Conduct in-person supplier audits at their production facilities. Support and coordinate with team to produce quality and quarterly presentations. Direct lines of communication with senior management and leadership (Directors and Vice Presidents).As required, contribute and provide content for business presentations on key feedstocks

Degree in economics, business admin or natural sciences. Previous experience in Procurement with preference in Raw Materials (petrochemicals). Experience in moderation of cross-functional teams (minimum 2 years) Commercial experience in waste management preferred o Experience building and maintaining external business relationships.
