Job Description

Our client, is seeking a Class 5 Power Engineer to join their team. As a Power Engineer, you will be part of the Maintenance Team supporting Management. The ideal candidate will have punctuality, dependability and dedication which will align successfully in the organization.


Job Title: Class 5 Power Engineer

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Pay Range: $30 - $32 per hour


What’s the Job?

  • Preform inspections, maintenance and repair of the building's mechanical systems
  • HVAC troubleshooting, electrical work including re-lamping, ballast replacement and breaker reset
  • Plumbing repairs, drain maintenance, preventative maintenance
  • Maintenance and inspection of kitchen equipment, elevators, fire life safety devices, access and overhead doors, electrical switches
  • Ensure the CMMC system software is up to date


What’s Needed?

  • Class 5 engineering qualification
  • EPA Universal Certification, Ozone Depletion Prevention, Certificate of Qualification required
  • Strong knowledge of work order control and CMMS systems
  • Experience with subcontractor and vendor contract management
  • Experience with KPI's provided by site manager
