Manpower is hiring for a Signing Authorities Officer for a Bank in North York



What's in it for you?

* $20.15$/ hour, plus 4% vacation pay

* Paid weekly, every Friday

* Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM (The position may require shift work within the business hours of 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m)

* 6 Months contract (Possibility of extension/conversion)

* North York, ON (Currently WFH)



What is the job?

* Interpret, validate and execute internal and external client requests by establishing new customer's signing authorities or amending existing customer's signing authorities for basic corporate structures, conducting reviews of existing files and correcting documentation gaps relating to either signing authorities or AML discovered during the vetting process

* Verify documentation according to established signing authority procedures to confirm that documents received from customers are complete, and properly executed

* Review basic legal agreements related to Cash Management products to allow implementation of new products and amendments to existing products

* Identify non-standard documentation received from clients and work with the Signing Authorities Specialist or directly with internal legal council, for review and approval

* Update the physical files maintained in the vault, as well as the signing authority view in the Siebel system to allow other teams within the Business Contact Centre (BCC) to complete their signature verification process



What do you bring to the job?

* Working knowledge of corporate structures, to accurately vet and review signing authority documentation ensuring proper execution

* Good judgment, problem-solving techniques and the ability to generate solutions and decide quickly on courses of action when responding to service agreements

* Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize requests to ensure timely completion of assignments in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to successfully draft communications conveying concise explanations/information on policies and procedures

* Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office software

* Ability to develop strong working relationships with, partners and service providers over the phone
