Job Description

Customer Service Specialist



Position Summary:

This role is responsible for providing order management and customer service to distributor customers. This position serves as primary Supply Chain contact for sales and customers. Daily responsibilities include processing distributor orders, providing customer centric responses to inquiries, and working collaboratively within the Supply Chain to meet and exceed high service metric standards. A person in this role will interact with a wide variety of internal departments including sales, sales support, planning and logistics and finance.



Position Responsibilities:

* Review, audit and enforce purchase order requirements

* Processing of customer orders timely and accurately

* Provide exceptional customer service with an attitude of customer centricity

* Provide clear and timely communication of orders status to customers

* Proactively engage with customers to drive mutual benefit

* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and salespeople on Supply Chain inquiries

* Modify orders in support of production and logistical priorities

* Perform validation of inventory to ensure high case fill rate metrics are met

* Maintain accurate shipment records

* Work collaboratively with other Supply Chain departments in support of company strategies

* Provide value through exceptional support of customer order activity

* Support and encourage other team members

* Comply with all regulatory requirements for domestic and international shipments

* Willingness to participate or lead special project assignments assigned by the Manager of Customer Centric Operations



Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

* Four-year degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain preferred

* At least two years of work experience in customer service, Supply Chain and/or Export/Import

* Ability to learn new systems quickly, experience in Excel, Salesforce and DOMO are preferred

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

* Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to contribute valuable solutions to the customer

* Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills

* Strong verbal and written communication required
