Manpower is looking for an experienced and excited professional that would play an important role in the community's transformation and development, supporting the growth and advancement of the Michipicoten First Nation in Wawa, Ontario as their new Director of Operations.

What is the job?
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Nation including Finance, Administration, Human Resources and the delivery of programs and services to citizens residing both on and off reserve
Ensure that all operations are conducted in a respectful, fair, and responsible manner and aligned with the Michipicoten's mission, vision, values, policies and procedures
What do you bring?
Strong understanding of Indigenous culture and Michipicoten history and cultural awareness
A Bachelor's degree in Administration, Finance, Business or an equivalent related field
A minimum of 5 years of leadership and supervising in a senior management role
Must be able to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing the areas of finance, human resources, First Nation governance and relevant legislation, northern culture, political environment and program management, delivery, and evaluation
Must be able to pass in a Criminal Record Check
