Job Description

Are you a seasoned business to business sales professional? Have you worked in the Electrical Equipment or Industrial Manufacturing industry?

A global manufacturer with more than 40 years in producing quality electrical equipment is seeking a Sales Director to join their team of industry experts. As the Director of Sales you will lead a productive and energized sales team in business development activities for customers across the globe. You will oversee all sales, marketing and business growth opportunities for a unique and specialized line of quality equipment.

Your duties will include:

* Manage company's sales team including direct staff, manufactures representatives and distributors both domestically and internationally.

* Trains, guides and motivates sales team.

* Oversees marketing activities and budget to establish clear plans for business growth.

* Coordinates sales activities with engineering department for product development.

* Travels both domestically and internationally to support the sales staff and marketing activities.

* Assess costs, competition and supply and demand to establish pricing.

* Design and implement strategic plans to meet sales goals.

* Prepares sales plans and forecasts for management team identifying both short and long term goals.


* Great relationship building, presentation and communication skills.

* Excellent Negotiation and Leadership skills.

* Minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical equipment sales and sales force management.

* Successful B2B Sales and Business Development history.

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

* Electrical Engineering experience a plus.

* Experience with international and domestic business practices.

* Ability to accurately forecast sales.

* Available for travel as required, approximately 30% normal.
