Work Days/Hours: M-F 6a to 2:30p, mandatory daily overtime - one hour at end of shift, also mandatory Saturdays starting at 6a - working a 4 to 8 hour shift depending upon client demand and material availability.
Pay - $29.75/HR

Job Summary
The Test Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing battery chargers, inverters, regulators at pretest and final test.
Specific Responsibilities:
* Testing, troubleshooting, and repair of uninterruptible power systems equipment such as inverters, rectifiers, chargers, static switches, AC regulators, and associated equipment.
* Interface with customers for factory acceptance testing as required.
* Recommend Test Procedure changes.
* Provide Technical support to customers over the phone.
* Any additional tasks as deemed necessary.
Qualifications:
* Possess electrical and mechanical aptitude and basic skills on soldering and assembling of electro/mechanical devices.
* Must be proficient in the use of multi-meters and other basic instruments as well as demonstrate proficiency in the use of oscilloscopes and be comfortable with minor mechanical rework.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, schematics and parts lists.
* Must be computer literate (MS Word, Excel) and possess strong verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service skills and troubleshooting skills.
* Able to work alone and manage time with little supervision.
* Possess strong AC/DC power electronics and applications skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven troubleshooting skills, ability to multitask and manage complex project, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Work with voltages as high as 1000VAC and 400VDC.
Education & Experience:
* Two Year Degree in Electronics or Military equivalent experience.
* Must have a technology background that includes at least 5 years experience in power electronics and a versatile hands-on individual with good analytical skills.
* Experience with power in the ranges of: 480 to 600VAC with currents over 1,000A preferred.
