Job Description

GREAT Full Time Opportunity in Kiel, WI. Training is provided. Should have solid manufacturing experience - supervisory experience helpful!

The Floor Coordinator role is responsible for leading associates in a professional and effective manner. He or she will work closely with the On-Site Manager to improve the work environment and serve as a key contact. The Floor Coordinator will work on production lines only as needed in order to learn and understand the jobs, help to relieve on breaks as needed and to build relationships with supervisors, staff, and to observe Manpower associates as needed. He or she may guide or coach Manpower associates on completing work correctly and efficiently, and to execute on the tasks outlined below. This resource will serve to ensure operations run smoothly and satisfactorily.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. Act as a resource and may perform some or all of these duties; however, it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.

* Oversee Manpower associates, provide coaching and feedback

* Work with supervisors to give instructions as needed, ensure training is completed, and safety guidelines are communicated and followed

* Serve as a liaison between Manpower associates and Manpower On-Sites to assist with personnel questions, concerns or needs to perform their role successfully

* Serve as first point of contact if a Manpower On-Site is not available

* Call associates regarding their schedules as needed to inform if early report to times, reserves, if scheduled for weekend work and overtime

* Work with production lines to ensure they are running efficiently and are staffed correctly

* Orient new associates to the building, their position, supervisors, etc.

* Work with supervisors, leads and schedulers to ensure needs are communicated and standards are met

* Report any unsafe acts/conditions and enforce all safety issues, including food safety rules such as GMP rules

* Work through the attendance and disciplinary process in accordance with Manpower policies

* Assist in the completion of associate performance evaluations and provide feedback to associates.

Required Competencies:

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Strong trouble-shooting skills

* Good mathematical and Basic Computer knowledge including email, and to work in Word & Excel as needed.
