We are seeking individuals with recent and relevant experience as a Forklift Driver with the availability to start IMMEDIATELY in Sacramento, CA and the ability to pass a background check, drug screen and E-Verify.
A successful candidate will be responsible, and dependable with a positive and upbeat personality and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must also be a team-player who is always reliable, on time, with a solid work ethic and commitment to consistent work attendance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* 85% of the job will be picking orders, 5% full pallet pick, 5% receiving & 5% loading.
* Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
* Loading and unloading product.
* Moving product stacked on pallets or in crates around warehouse/storage facility.
* Follow instructions for operating equipment.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment.
* Warehouse work in warehouses where they receive, unpack, arrange and store goods, and gather, pack, prepare and load goods.
* Select products from the warehouse, load and secure goods to pallets, move inventory to delivery area, and load merchandise.
* Loading and wrapping stock onto pallets.
* Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jacks
Additional Requirements:
* Frequently lift to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.
* Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.
* Work experience as a general labor, preferably in a warehouse.
* Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
* Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
* Able to work extended hours / overtime as needed.
Work Environment:
* Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on season.
