Job Description

General Labor - Sawmill (Burnham, Maine)

A successful manufacturer in Burnham has multiple anticipated openings for General Laborers. No experience required - if you are motivated to learn and work hard, this company is willing to provide training! Join an inclusive team while gaining experience in a busy production environment and enjoying the convenience of local work.



Manpower actively works with both clients and associates to ensure health & safety remain a top priority.



What's in it for you?

* Full time job planned to run for at least a couple months, with temp-to-hire potential for successful candidates

* Training provided

* $12/hour, paid weekly

* Keep active and build your skills in a busy production environment

* 4-day work week! Work 12pm-10pm, Monday-Thursday



What will you be doing?

* Removing pieces of wood from a conveyor belt

* Stacking lumber on pallets

* Inspecting, sorting, and stickering lumber

* Other production duties as assigned



What will you bring to the job?

* Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

* Ability to work in a physical job that requires standing throughout the shift and frequently bending, moving, and twisting

* Steel-toed boots
