Job Description

Human Resources Analyst



The Human Resources Analyst position encompasses a variety of HR duties and responsibilities - primarily assisting with recruitment.



Staffing/Recruitment

* Develop recruiting requirements based on Agency goals and objectives; work with hiring managers to determine hiring needs.

* Build applicant sources by researching and networking with community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, and social media.

* Process job requisitions, create job announcements, and post job opportunities to various job site sources.

* Assess job applications for relevant knowledge, skills and experience; recommend qualified candidates for interview to hiring managers.

* Schedule and conduct applicant interviews; assist hiring manager in selection process using various recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates.

* Maintain accurate information in applicant tracking system.

* Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.

* Coordinate, schedule, and monitor pre-employment activities such as background investigations, drug screen, reference checks, and applicant testing.

* Administer drug and alcohol program as mandated by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA); gather and analyze information, prepare reports and correspondence on findings, and make recommendations.



Qualifications

* Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and at least 2 years of recent, relevant human resources experience.

* Must possess a valid driver's license.



Pay: $26 - $39 per hour
