What is the Job?



Inventory control specialists are in charge of managing product or company resources. They must also recognize and resolve quantity discrepancies, make quantity reports, create request tickets as needed, and prepare extensive quantitative statements that help with inventory control duties.



* Maintain and review efficient and accurate inventory management procedures, consistent with company policy and procedure

* Backing lab in collecting Raw Material samples.

* Maintain log of incoming raw materials.

* Provide accurate and timely order entry for operations

* Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection

* Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy

* Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments

* Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions

* Follow vendor's disposition of damaged and/or expired product, including shipment for destruction

* Provide timely and accurate responses to Production and initiated cycle count requests

* Support product recall return process through physical identification and segregation of product.

* Responsible for running of reports, reconciliation of final count variances, and all other reconciliation activities

* Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessary







What do you bring to the job?



* High School or equivalency preferred

* 2-5 years of experience in receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for property desired; preferably in a cGMP environment.

* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel (including Statistics and Pivot Tables), Access, PowerPoint, Word. SAP or large ERP system prefer.

* Good mathematical ability, excellent organizational and communication skills, and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently with self-motivation and initiative

* Excellent reading and writing ability
