What will you be doing?
* Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications needed to produce an accurate product.
* Take measurements and mark metals for cutting or shaping. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers.
* Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as CNC mills, lathes, milling machines, shapers or grinders
* Measure, examine and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications
* Select appropriate machines. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools and position or load material for a job.
* Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine, etc.
* Observe, monitor and check machine to ensure output consistency with desired specifications.
* Perform routine maintenance of machinery used in machining department.

* CNC Mill experience (lathes,grinders,etc.)
* Mechanically inclined
* Knowledge of metals
* Abilities to read blueprints
* Reliable
