We have a need for a Mail Center Operator. This individual will operate high-speed insert equipment in a paper factory environment.

You will be expected to:

* Operate high-speed insert equipment in a paper factory environment.

* Monitor and verify quality for processes, peers, and colleagues.

* Demonstrate the basic knowledge of the core rules, regulations, instructions, and guidelines as they apply to assignments and professional behavior.

* Understand and achieve quality and timeliness expectations within specific areas of responsibility.

* Perform peer spot-checks as needed.

* Verify document quality. Quality checks include machine set up, tap test, print and indicia verification. Take corrective action or escalates, as needed.

* Demonstrate the ability to operate the equipment using all basic functions. Is trained, certified and/or licensed in equipment usage. Completes a range of responsibilities and processes with minimal supervision and guidance.

* Prioritize workflow according to Service Level Agreements. Meet the established standards for all processes, to maintain the overall work condition.

* Guides work activities and processes within work unit.

* Direct and monitor work assignments for team members.

* Support other units and functions as needed.

* Operate and maintain document production equipment and PC's.

* Adhere to departmental and OSHA guidelines. Adhere to equipment safety and environmental compliance standards and practices and monitors and alerts coworkers and leaders of safety issues.

* Demonstrate the ability to use the core components of the application as part of the normal function of the job. Has a solid understanding of the functionality of the system.

* Able to resolve basic problems and answer user questions. Troubleshoots common problems quickly and accurately.

* Conduct pre-operational inspections and completion of equipment logbooks.

* Document any equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions.

* Operate, clean, and perform preventative maintenance of assigned equipment and perform basic to intermediate repairs and adjustments with minimal supervision.

* Set up processes and maintain supply levels. Equipment may include:

o Roll feed and cut sheet printers

o Insert equipment

o Pre-sort mail equipment
