Job Description

Manufacturing Technician | Open to all levels of experience | $52-$78k | Rogers, MN









Works with Manufacturing Engineers, Product Managers, R & D, Quality Assurance, Team Coordinators, Group Leads, Assemblers and Machine Operators through training, testing, and development of new products, finding solutions and troubleshooting problems to help production to run more efficiently and smoothly and provide a better quality of product. Work assignments are of the greatest variety and complexity. Supervision received is limited. Work may include providing training and work direction for other technicians.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:





1 Review Manufacturing methods and tooling on prototypes and first run production lots. Discuss problems and possible solutions with Manufacturing Engineers, Production Supervisors, Management and R & D.



1 Recommend improvements to manufacturing methods, fixtures, equipment and product design to facilitate assembly and reduce cost. Create work instructions and pin layouts.



1 Train, assist and support Production in training in new equipment and tooling. Recommend improvements and methods to improve procedures and product. Answer technical questions regarding production methods and Router instructions.



1 Assist Quality Control. Investigate product performance and prepare quality analysis.



1 Build samples for various customers.



1 Troubleshoot and repair products. Modify PCBs. Maintain logs on failures and repairs, and maintain database for all products new and old.







QUALIFICATIONS:



Associates Degree

Open to Level I, II or III Technician

Manufacturing Technician experience working with a variety of equipment & troubleshooting it

Sense of good machine awareness & operational knowledge is a must
