Job Description

This position will be responsible for providing support to the warehouse/shipping receiving by coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections and departments for assigned projects.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities



*Be able to perform spares functions, to include reading and understanding contracts, shipping requirements, packaging/crating. Prepare all required documentation, etc.

*Be able to perform in various warehouse functions to include preparation of customer shipments, vendor shipments and associated documentations. Arrange freight carriers based on competitive bids, etc.

*Close work orders and issue parts up to the next level kit in the Company's computerized Business Control System (Josscope).

*Facilitate issuance of manufacturing kits and associated documentation.

*Help maintain responsibility for all common stock and project inventory including generating inventory reports, cycle counting, create inventory batch reports and perform reconciliation for inventory variances.

*Support all preservation requirements and activity. Report and degradation.

*Observe and follow warehouse locations and layouts. Store and record material locations to facilitate issuance of kits to Manufacturing and/or Shipping Department.

*Be able to read a tape measure and work with power tools when required.

*Wood working experience would be helpful

*Comply with all safety rules and promote the importance of safety in the performance of all job functions.

*Must be able to operate forklift safely.



*High School diploma or equivalent

*Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Physical

*Must have previous Forklift experience

*Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

*A minimum of two (2) years' experience in Shipping/Receiving.

*At least Two (2) years' experience in a manufacturing or production control environment or a combination of both.

*Must have good written and oral communication skills

*Possess a working knowledge of computers (i.e., Microsoft Word), including use of spreadsheets and work process software (i.e., Visibility).

*Ability to function within working conditions and physical requirements described below



Working hours: Monday - Friday, day shift. $15/hour
