What will you be doing?
* This position will be responsible for quickly and accurately moving production materials and parts into and out of warehouse shelves, storage bins and production locations.
* Receive and put away inbound deliveries.
* Pick and issue parts for production jobs.
* Make inventory and other transactions in company systems and database with accuracy and timeliness.
* Ensure the warehouse is a safe, clean and efficient production work environment.
Must be able to:
* Positive, can-do attitude
* Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures, work orders, and bills of material
* Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
* Knowledge of basic shop math, assembly, and configuration
* Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to use a crane once fully trained to lift items
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position
* Ability to wear required PPE for the role including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and protective arm and hand coverings.
* Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibly to work overtime based on customer demand
