Job Description
Plant Electrician (2nd shift, $22.29 to $33.02/hr)
Location: Sherman, TX
Hours: 2 pm to 10 pm
Pay Rate: $22.29 to $33.02/hr based on experience + $1.00 shift differential
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for all electrical services at the plant.
- Fully plans and installs 120/240/480-volt electrical services which conform to city and NEC codes as required.
- Responsible for other maintenance duties such as LAN installations, phone lines, plumbing repairs and the repair of electrical/mechanical devices including but not limited to: production machines, assembly test equipment, and equipment assigned to the building such as boilers, air compressors, and HVAC systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two-year technical degree focused on the repair of electrical, mechanical, telecommunications or network installations.
- Must be able to provide proof of active journeyman's electrical license for Grayson County.
- Must be currently qualified for 120/240/480 voltage in manufacturing facility.
- Demonstrate knowledge in the following areas: HVAC systems, telecommunications, electrical circuits, mechanical systems, air compression & hydraulics, and PLC basics.
- Demonstrate the ability to interpret maintenance prints and electrical schematics.
