Job Description

$15.00hr * ROTATING SHIFTS * $2000 Attendance Bonus Eligible * Convert to perm in 30 Days *

Complete assembly of automotive seating units while maintaining good housekeeping, safety, quality and efficiency standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Complete assembly of automotive seating units

 Develop proficiency in all production job functions and rotate in job cell into various work stations

 Control processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected

 Maintain good housekeeping, safety, meet quality and efficiency standards

 Restock work areas as needed to ensure proper work flow

 Monitor production material quantities and report shortages

 Ability to lift and/or carry seating components frequently (Lift assist devices are provided).

 Complete, assembly of quality seating units

 Walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, pull, push to move product through build process

 Use of hand-held pneumatic tools

 Operation of assembly fixtures

 Problem solving of work place issues

 Quality inspections of work in progress

 Work as part of a team to ensure on-time quality product to our customers (internal and external)

 Incorporate safe working procedures into all daily activities in and around facility

 Understand and follow written and verbal instructions

 Comply with company rules, policies, and practices

 Any and all other tasks as assigned by any member of management

 Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear

Qualification Requirements:

Education and Experience:

 High School Diploma or equivalent

 Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints and procedure manuals. Candidate has the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Candidate has the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
