Job Description

Our client, a world class CPG manufacturer is looking for an experienced Project Lead - Special Packs & Displays to work at their head office Downtown Toronto.



Background & Purpose of the Job



This position plans and oversees the execution of Special Pack and Displays within the Category to support customer and business requirements. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to manage and execute project timelines and the executional tasks within those timelines. The successful candidate will be flexible in adapting to changing business requirements and be able to effectively communicate key goals and issues to all stakeholders. A self-starter who is highly motivated and organized. Experience in project management/multi-functional teams will be considered a strong asset.



A few of the key metrics for this position include customer service, inventory levels, and OTIF. The interfaces for the project leader are extensive, including but not limited to: ISV, 3PM Co-packer, Brand, Visual Branding, Trade, Customer Service, Procurement, Customer Packaging and Warehousing. This position is the focal point for promotional brand and trade execution and is therefore a key role.



Who You Are & What You'll Do

You're a strategy guru: You will lead cross-functional working teams via project meetings/networks to drive timeline adherence and manage critical updates for successful executions.

You're a dot connector: You will act as a key interface between promotional planning, supply planning, ISV, brand, trade and our third-party co-packer as it pertains to executing special packs and display projects.

You love to win, and have fun doing it: You will be responsible for completing Supply Chain related activities as it pertains to the timeline (i.e. GMMD, PLM, secondary artwork, and other planning related activities).

You're a story teller: You will develop and manage all aspects of project timelines.

You're a paradox navigator: You will maintain top customer service while making changes to promotional requirements, working capital targets and minimizing waste.



What You'll Need to Succeed

Undergraduate Degree

A minimum of 2 years' experience in relevant Project Management, Planning or Supply Chain

Experience leading cross-functional teams

Experience developing and maintaining project timelines

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills

Excel proficiency

Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods would be an asset

Experience with SAP is an asset
