Our client, Thermo Fisher is seeking a Purchasing Agent-Expeditor to join their team. As a Purchasing Agent-Expeditor, you will be part of the Warehouse . The ideal candidate will have Supply Chain and various purchasing knowledge which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Purchasing Agent-Expeditor
Location: Tewksbury, MA.
Pay Range: 30 Hr
What’s the Job?
- Negotiates and generates purchase orders for approved purchase requisitions for production per MRP.
- Reviews and resolves daily internal purchasing problems and shortages.
- Reschedules Purchase Orders as required.
- Returns non-conforming inventory items to vendors within their commodity.
- Resolves discrepant invoice issues in a timely manner.
What’s Needed?
- Microsoft Office software
- Advance skills in Excel prefered
- Data entry into an ERP system such as Oracle
- Well organized .
- Must have both good written and verbal communication skills
