Job Description

Job Summary:

The primary function of the Return to Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Inventory Clerk is to provide daily RMA inventory control including product and material receiving and transfer, data input, inventory counting, and follow up with parts supplier to resolve discrepancies. Administers and follows up with ACL spare parts, back repair, Return to Vendor (RTV) receiving, packing roster verification, invoicing and quotation of services, and resolves discrepancies with parts supplier within RMA systems. Collaborates with the Warehouse Department to develop proposals for the continuous improvement of warehouse operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for receiving incoming spare parts and itemizing products and materials within inventory including labeling and data input.

2. Responsible for the recording of all material in and out transactions and ensures accurate, proper, and timely inventory through consistent and ongoing cycle and physical counts and annual inventory reporting.

3. Conducts and follows up with the receiving and transfer of internal materials, verifies packing roster, invoicing and quotation of services, and resolves discrepancies with parts supplier.

4. Performs product receiving for the Warehouse Supervisor.

5. Collaborates with technical support to continuously enhance and improve current RMA programs, processes, procedures, and guidelines.

6. Collaborates with the Warehouse Department to develop recommendations for the enhancement and improvement of warehouse conditions, layout, operations, and product knowledge.

7. Assists with the coordination of various company departments to ensure sales orders are processed accurately, properly, timely, and effectively.

8. Assists and supports RMA management and administration to achieve material processing and control goals and objectives.

9. Performs and completes any other tasks/projects as assigned.

Qualifications, Requirements, and Skills:

1. High school diploma required with an Associate's (A.A./A.S.) degree in a related technical or scientific field preferred or equivalent one (1) year of related experience within inventory control.

2. Prior experience with data input required.

3. Conversational skills in Mandarin Chinese language required, in order to communicate with global staff and clientele.

4. Good knowledge and understanding of RMA technical processes, policies, procedures, and guidelines.

5. Ability to complete multiple projects with changing circumstances, workload, priorities, and deadlines with quality results.

6. Ability and competency for self-initiative, motivation, confidence, accuracy, technical/detail orientation, be a team player, and with a "can do" attitude.

7. Time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

8. Proficiency and skill in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).

9. Good verbal and written communication skills.

10. Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds of products and materials.

Physical Requirements:

The physical requirements described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

1.Standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms to perform job.

2.Lift, carry, push and pull in excess of 25 pounds. (For safety, support belt must be worn to perform this task).

3.Some product may require lift up or over 35 lbs. (For safety, support belt must be worn to perform this task).

4.Unpacking and re-packaging will be required.
