Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a Sanitation Lead to join their team. As a Sanitation Group Lead, you will be part of the Production or Quality Assurance department supporting their operations. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have good communication skills and be reliable, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Itasca, Illinois



Pay: $19.00 per hour



Shift: Monday- Friday



3rd Shift- 9:30pm-6:00am, 5- 6 days per week



What’s the Job?

A Sanitation Group Lead is responsible for following Standard Operating Procedures, perform cleaning on production equipment to ensure safety and hygiene. Records information to reflect sanitation activities and issues. Follows established procedures in the cleaning and sanitation of idle production equipment as advised by Supervisor. Completes required reporting to reflect completion of tasks and other items required. Advises Supervisor when supplies need ordered. Leads and directs other Sanitation Techs as needed.



What is required?

Must be 18 years old or older and have a High School Diploma or GED.

Read and Write in English.

Minimum of 6 months previous sanitation experience.

Be able to assist and support up to 90 pounds with varying amounts of assistance on a reoccuring basis.

Standing, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, walking,

Must be able to work in very cold and/or very hot environments.

Ok with some exposure to fumes and airborne particules
