Job Description

A leading manufacturer in power generation is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Manager to permanently add to their team!



The Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for providing direction and guidance within the facility of responsibility to achieve 100% on time delivery through proper materials management and execution while optimizing working capital. Success in this role is defined by achieving key goals in on time delivery, inventory accuracy, facility efficiency, and schedule attainment metrics.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:





* Work closely with the VP Global Supply Chain to execute strategy to ensure continuity of the Supply Chain.

* Ensure Supply Chain is synchronized with Production Execution capabilities to maximum efficiencies and lowest cost of operation.

* Develop and challenge resources to improve performance through systems utilization and process improvements.

* Support and improve Order Management best practices, processes and policies that drive perfect order logic including order types/policies, standardized lead times/tier pricing strategies, available-to-promise (ATP), customer resource management (CRM) and electronic data interchange (EDI).

* Coordinate cross-site supply chain information and processes.

* Lead and improve Planning/Management ensuring SIOP plans are executed within the facility (system integrity and execution).

* Lead and improve Purchasing in conjunction with the Strategic Global Sourcing team to reduce lead times and improve material margins through Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model including lean replenishment ABCXYZ.

* Lead and improve Material/Inventory Management best practices including Plan for Every Part (PFEP)., ABCXYZ Analysis, Purchasing Methods (PO, Blanket, etc), Warehouse Management (Cycle Count Accuracy, Transactions, Bar Coding, RFID) and Advance Replenishment Methods (MRP, Stocking Programs, VMI, Consignment, Re-Order Point and Direct Pull).

* Lead initiative to ensure continuity of supply throughout the operations to achieve uninterrupted supply of quality components and assemblies.

* Key partner with corporate Category Management in effectively measuring and monitoring supplier performance.

* Support and improve Order Management best practices, processes and policies that drive perfect order logic including order types/policies, standardized lead times/tier pricing strategies, available-to-promise (ATP), customer resource management (CRM) and electronic data interchange (EDI).

* Develop, manage, and direct supply chain team, purchasing, planning, and all materials management responsibilities (inventory control, receiving, shipping).



Minimum Qualifications:





* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field OR equivalent experience in the Supply Chain function within a similar working environment.

* 7 - 10 years of progressive management experience in a similar working environment.



Preferred Qualifications:





* Master's degree.

* Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP.

* Experience with material flow by utilizing supermarkets and supplier pull replenishment using a PFEP and inventory segmentation (ex. ABCXYZ).

* Supply Chain/Material Certifications - CPM, CPIM.



* Sound business acumen operating in both High Mix, Low Volume and High Volume, Low Mix Production environments.
