Manpower has partnered with a leading Canadian Bank. Our client is in search of a Service Officer II for 1 year.
Service Officer II $ 22.34/hr

* What's the Job?
The following lists the major accountability of the Officer.
* Monitor and review all corporate action notifications daily basis from BNY Mellon vendors and FIS
* Perform thorough & critical analysis of circulars/notification within tight deadlines
* Analyze information received and populate template into condensed form for client's notification
* Pull holdings list and forward notification to administrators and managers as required.
* Create corporate action files and update on-line logbooks
* Collect and tabulate instructions received for each corporate action event.
* Send reminder notices as per SLA.
* Respond to inquiries regarding US custody accounts.
* Submit accurate and timely tender of client instructions online.
* Monitor payment sheets for incoming payments, ensure payments are balanced and paid within SLA.
* What do you bring to the job?
* Ensure payments are processed as per US tax analysis.
* Escalate problem issues to senior on a timely basis.
* Communicate effectively with vendors, transfer agents and/or companies to obtain information on corporate actions as required.
* Assist with payment of US custody income payments as required.
* Track Class Action claims by deadline via ICE and mail.
* Reviews claims form to determine data required to identify eligible clients.
* Generate Class Action Notice, and initiate mailing to eligible clients.
* For Managed Lines of business, request client data, prepare as per claim admin requirements and file claims.
* Monitor and co-ordinate payments on bulk claims processed.
* Investigate inquires in relation to Class Actions.
* Complete sundry duties and/or assigned daily tasks within agreed upon targets.
* Demonstrates sound work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn change and succeed.
* Completes required internal courses and cross-training requirements.
* Qualifications
1) Well organized, detailed oriented, demonstrate a strong work ethic, with a positive attitude, be self-motivated, be a forward thinker, be able to communicate well both written and verbally, resourceful and have industry experience.
2) MS Office (Excel and Word) advance skills
3) Self motivated
* EDUCATION:
High School (Preferred Post-Secondary)
