Job Description

Manpower is hiring a 1st shift (6am-4:30pm) shipper/ receiver for a manufacturing company in Milwaukee, off 73rd & Calumet. We are looking for a candidate that has minimum 3-5 RECENT SHIPPING EXPERIENCE at the same employer. This is not a entry level position.



$15-$17/ hour depending on experience.



Responsibilities:

Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, or other records

Uses computer to look up, verify, and enter data related to incoming and outgoing orders

Retrieves product from warehouse locations and assembles customer orders

Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, follows established procedures to reject damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper and supervisor to rectify damages and shortages

Stocks items into proper locations

Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications

Operate forklift and other powered equipment

Auditing outbound shipments

Inventory cycle count



Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years in a shipping/ receiving role at the same company.

High school diploma or GED
