Job Title: Assembler - Team

Work Location: Alcon Laboratories

Pay Rate: $17.25 - $18.00



An Assembler is responsible for constructing each component of the product, using the project specific instructions provided.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

- Assemble product using a variety of hand tools.

*Visually inspect for defects.

*Pack product into cardboard boxes or other shipping containers

.*Label product to prepare for storage and/or shipment.

*Complete shipping documentation, accurately and timely.

.*Stock product and re-stock supplies.

*Ability to work in a team environment to complete assigned tasks.

*Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

*Comply with company standards and policies.

*Adhere to safety and quality standards

.*Other duties may be assigned as needed.



QUALIFICATIONS& SKILLS:

*Detail-oriented

*Excellent hand-eye coordination

*Strong communication skills -verbal & written

*Problem solving skills -use resources to resolve issues

*Ability to add & subtract, using whole numbers

*Basic computer skills

*Education -high school or GED equivalent

*2+ years assembly experience (not required)

*Frequently lift and/or move objects weighing 5-25 lbs
