Job Description

Utility and Production Workers - Immediate Openings - Training will be provided



Summary:

Responsible for ensuring the production line has all of the necessary component materials and equipment to accomplish the orders at hand in a timely manner.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities: May include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Read and understand work orders .

* Verify that adequate raw materials and supplies are available to meet line production needs, notify appropriate personnel about anything that is short or cannot be located.

* Accurately complete required paperwork and data entry for quality and production checks.

* Visually check product to ensure quality

* Visually inspect equipment, tables, floors, etc. to ensure GMP standards are met.

* Ensure quality of products.

* Read and understand work orders to verify all product information is correct .

* Maintain, load, and monitor packing equipment to include minor adjustments and

coordinate set up and placement of equipment such as; auto case packer, tape machines, printers, conveyors.

* Load and stack products, assist with packaging and box products.

* Assist others in Prep area and Pack area activities

* Assure that quality and quantity of work produced is acceptable to the company standards.

* All other duties assigned.



Qualifications:

* Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

* Must be able to maintain physical activity with some handling of heavy materials.

* Requires ability to read and write, and follow written and verbal instructions. May use direct gauges such as scales.



Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED)

Food Manufacturing experience preferred.
