Job Description

Warehouse Associate I Hours:

Sunday, 3:30pm until completion of work

Monday - Thursday, 5:30pm until completion of work

Manager Highlights:

* Work during weather events. DC doesn't close for weather normally.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE: order fulfillment, stocking and replenishment, and outbound shipping of customer orders. Performs related duties as assigned. MANUAL (BY HAND) PICKING

1. If a fully automated, PkMS enabled environment, must be able to utilize the functions of the warehouse management system in order to perform daily tasks.

2. Accurantely fills orders verifying quantity, size, strength, and NDC numbers.

3. Checks each order after the order picking process is complete to ensure the product is placed and packed appropriate to prevent damage during transit; repacks orders when necessary following quality standards and procedures.

4. Carefully places merchandise containers on conveyors as requested, ensuring the route information is visible.

5. Verifies totes, cases, and paperwork are accurate prior to delivery.

6. Promptly retrieves merchandise from floors, shelves and from conveyor.

7. Carefully and securly wraps breakable items in protective covering as requested.

8. Assists with tockeing shelves as requested.

9. Assists with inventory procedures as requested.

10. Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.

11. Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.

12. Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.

13. Have a good overall understanding of DC workflow and can work with minimal guidance


High School diploma or equivalent is desired. Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience. Previous warehouse/distribution experience is preferred.


Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull orders from various shelf heights; and ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally is required. Must be able to read and understand English, have number recognition skills, and good hand/eye coordination. Exhibit a sense of urgency to ensure all deadlines are met. Computer knowledge is desirable.
