Job Description

Our growing Brantford client who is a leader in distribution is looking for a Team Lead for the Warehouse that would lead to Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years related experience and will be responsible for the following:

The person in this position will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse in Brantford, CA. ensuring a safe, efficient, and reliable operation Person will follow directions set by Distribution Manager and senior management staff.



* Motivate, direct, and lead workforce in the fulfillment of company objectives

* Lead safety team,

* Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to all levels in the organization

* Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership team regarding employees, operations, and needs of the organization

Operational Leadership:

* Lead warehouse operations ensuring efficiency, on-time shipments, quality, and a safe working environment

* Work collaboratively with other supervisors to ensure standardized approaches, processes, and optimal use of resources

* Maintain accurate inventory by organizing storage area, conducting physical counts and reconciling variances

Cost Management:

* Monitor employee work schedules to minimize costs and meet business financial goals

* Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on opportunities to reduce distribution costs

* Support scrap and cost reduction programs through implementation of employee ideas

People Management:

* Select, coach, counsel, and develop employees to meet business objectives

* Establish and communicate goals and objectives to warehouse employees and measure key performance indicators

* Assess and assist in upgrading the skills of employees to meet current and future demands from the workforce.

* Resolve employee conflict and issues and administer discipline as necessary according to company policy


* Thorough understanding of warehousing and logistics

* Expertise in developing and initiating continuous improvement and cost reduction activities

* Excellent decision-making skills

* Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

* Prefer 2 years of operational experience in a leadership role

* English: Proficient in reading, writing and verbal communication

Hours Mon-Friday day shift

Salary 49K... after 90 days $56,400 plus benefits.
