Job Description

1st Preform/Cutter Technician (1)Monday - Friday

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Plan, lay-out and operate Lectra or Gerber Fabric cutting machine to meet scheduled production requirements. Under minimal direct supervision, follow general instructions, sketches, specifications, work orders, process and equipment work instructions. Use recognized methods to perform a variety of standard, generally repetitive, manufacturing activities involved in the cutting, organizing and kitting of cut material. The Cutting Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and bring to supervisors' attention matters in a timely manner beyond operator control.

The cutting technician will also be cross training in the preform area (see description below)

1st Preform Technician (1) Monday - Friday

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Lay-up carbon fiber and other materials in various orientations over metal tooling. Manipulate the fibers on the metal tooling by applying heat (iron) and pressure on it. Usage of sharp tools (knives and scissors), measuring tools, and work instructions.

Should be willing and able to work on a hands-on role. Previous work experience where processes do not have a heavy reliance on machinery. Experience working in assembly, reading and following of work instructions, and great attention to detail for an extended period of time. Ability to sit or stand in a specific area for multiple hours. Ability to effectively complete one product that may take up to 1-3 hours to complete. Clean room environment.

2nd Preform Technicians (4) Monday - Thursday

3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (10 hours each day)

AWWPreform Technician (1)Friday - Sunday

6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (12 hours each day)

1st Molding Technician (1) Monday - Friday

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Usage of manual and power tools to assemble, disassemble and clean medium to large tools and products. Usage of cranes and other items to move aircraft products and tools across the manufacturing area. May work to operate an injection molding machine that will inject hot and high pressure resin into an aircraft parts. May be required to lift tools up to or above 25/lbs.

Machine operation and other manufacturing experience. Ability to follow direction, read work instructions, and work in a hands-on role. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet set demands each day. Ability to work in a high temperature environment. Ability to stand and move around the manufacturing areas for an entire shift.
