    Overnight - Accounting Clerk

    The Console Operator is accountable for receiving, balancing, extracting and transmitting information/financial files through stand-alone platform and mainframe applications in order to manage the workflow of data. Ensure productivity standards are achieved and Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded by following well-defined procedures and guidelines and escalating issues as appropriate.

    What you will be doing:

    * Maintain operational control over the receipt, balancing, extraction and transmission of electronic daily cheque files through standalone platform and mainframe applications (e.g. image technology, host mainframe, various software applications) to contribute to effective operation of the department
    * Control the workflow of data between the various processing steps within established protocols to meet established Service Level Agreements
    * Monitor and restart all image related servers (e.g. IES, IIS, ITS, IRR) in the required sequence using IBM Director to resolve error messages
    * Perform start of day and end of day procedures for the iCPCS environment (e.g. application, hardware, Enhanced System Manager) and monitor for error messages during CPCS activity · Identify and investigate out-of-balance items using established procedures and work with other team members to ensure all item problems are fixed and/or escalated immediately to minimize service impacts
    * Track chronological activities in performing root cause analysis of problems to articulate details, identify alternative solutions for implementation in accordance with established protocols and/or escalate item/problem to avoid impacting transmission time or Service Level Agreements
    * Verify and investigate problems with transmission of files to confirm successful transmission of images to central archive ·
    What we're looking for:
    * 2-3 years experience in Cheque Processing or Accounting environment using standard and/or image capture technology as well as file extraction and transmission ·
    * 1-2 years experience working with windows and windows based applications; ability to navigate a Windows/Browser to run various applications in multiple sessions
    * Secondary education with post-secondary specialized courses in computer applications

    Notre client, une des principale banque au pays recherche du personnel pour son centre d'opérations de production administrative.
    La tâche principale est de faire la validation de certaines transactions bancaires : soit de guichets automatiques, soit de dépôts commerciaux.
    La personne doit s'assurer que les informations se trouvant à l'intérieur des sacs ou des enveloppes sont conformes à la transaction. Le travail se fait à l'aide d'un clavier numérique et d'un compteur à argent. Vous aurez pour tâches de saisir différentes informations numériques dans le système maison de la banque ainsi que d'assurer la balance des transactions à tout moment durant le traitement.

    Il s'agit d'un travail de production, il y a des quotas préétablis que vous devez être en mesure de respecter. Par exemple, on peut vous demander de traiter 400 effets à l'heure. La précision et la rapidité sont primordiales dans ce type d'emploi.

    25 à 35 heures par semaine

    Il s'agit d'un contrat à durée indéterminée, nous recherchons des gens disponibles pour une période minimale d'un an.
