    In this position you will:
    * Post and process complex items
    * Complete accounting and balancing tasks using an online system and conduct investigations as needed
    * Use an online imaging system for cheque processing
    * Professionally communicate with internal clients
    * Follow procedures, guidelines, and requirements of the processing environment
    * Use your efficient & accurate numerical data entry skills to enter information

You are experienced in bank processing and you bring with you your strong computer skills, excellent data entry skills, and experience conducting investigations and balancing using an online system. You have an organized and focused approach to your work and you prefer to work the backshift.

    This position offers you:
    * Part-time, overnight hours (typically Monday-Friday 11:00pm-5:30am), with no weekends, and a pay rate starting at $14/hour
    * An on-going contract position in the banking industry allowing you to put your accounting and financial knowledge into practice
    * A convenient work location in downtown Halifax

    This opportunity is starting as soon as possible. It is essential that candidates for this opportunity can work shifts Monday-Friday 11:00pm-5:30am on an on-going basis. For this position you will also have a clean criminal background and reliable transportation to downtown Halifax.
