    What is the Job?
    *Analyzing revised pricing submissions from suppliers to ensure that prices are lower and are 'actual' savings
    *Auditing invoices from suppliers to calculate the savings achieved
    *Preparing presentations for clients highlighting price reductions and savings
    *Following up with suppliers tenaciously for missing documentation
    *Client management

    Local ice-cream company in South Burlington, VT is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator with background in bringing consumer products to market. This position supports the global Brand and Retail teams based in Vermont, to deliver new product range to market in 2018. The role will require strong people skills and superior time line management to work in a dynamic fast paced team manage multiple work streams. Critical skill include strong influencing skills, highly organized, analytical, and with a bias for action. This person will work closely across 3 functions, R&D, Supply Chain and Brand. We are looking for a strong candidate who has a keen interest in developing experience in how to bring products to market and launch innovation globally.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    * Track all data inputs across the project
    * Input formulations into Product Vision
    * Complete formulation calc sheets
    * Build waves and time line per wave for all transitioning skus
    * Monitor status of tasks daily and follow up with team members if their tasks are not complete in time
    * Work with procurement team to set up contracts for new materials
    * Work with production schedulers/finance to set up costing for new materials
    * Monitor inventory levels of old material at vendor and at plant
    * Use inventory levels and production schedule to determine an estimated run out date and any cost associated with not using old materials
    * Create run-out strategy based on inventory, production, and timing needed for transition implementation
    * Monitor run-out strategy and address any delays/issues in process
    * Facilitate operations meeting with supply planners, material planners, and schedulers to communicate transition timing and ordering needs
    * Communicate transition information to vendors such as how much of old material will be needed and when transition is expected to occur
    * Work with procurement to issue DOs and dispose of any old material inventory not used at vendors
    * Work with waste team to write off and dispose of any old material inventory not used at plants
    * Support Packaging Requirements for Global Bulk
    * Attend innovation and project specific weekly meetings and circulate notes.

    * Bachelor degree or equivalent
    * 2-3 year's relevant job experience - preferably experience in consumer packaged goods or operations
    * Must possess good organizational skills and be detail oriented
    * A real passion for innovative thinking and problem solving
    * Experience or exposure working in a cross cultural or international environment preferred
    * Excellent written & verbal communication skills
    * Computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, Project & PowerPoint.
