Job Description

Member Care Specialist

Location: Williamsport, PA

Pay Rae: $10.50

The Member Care Specialist (MCS) receives inbound calls that are generated through our website traffic.

The MCS carefully logs caller information into our database of leads, and speaks to the caller in an

engaging manner, with an eye toward making a sale. The MCS makes the caller feel heard and understood,

and represents the company to the caller in a positive and trustworthy way.

Job Responsibilities

o Receive inbound calls from prospective customers inquiring about our products and services:

o Carefully log caller information to create a digital record of the call

o Speak to the caller in an engaging manner, with an eye toward understanding their needs

o Pitch the products and services that may meet their needs, and address their objections in

a professional, positive, and understanding manner

o Above all, make the caller feel heard and understood

o If the sale is not made on the first try, place outbound call or complete other follow-up

· Uphold the company's high standard of service:

o Manage the call to the Quality Assurance measures

o Change and grow as performance metrics evolve

o Push and challenge the quality frontier - always keep the company's service ethic

moving toward the positive

o Perform other sales duties as directed

Required Skills

o A warm, caring phone voice, and a crisp, professional phone demeanor.

o An excellent listener, and you find it easy to hear what people are really saying, even beyond

what their words convey. You do not cut people off when they speak; you let them finish.

o Desire for meaningful work in addition to the opportunity to develop and hone skills.

o Motivated by incentive compensation and have an appetite for improving your selling method to

improve earnings.

o Good at keeping a regular schedule, and rarely late.

o A 50+WPM type speed.

o Some experience working in a customer-facing role, especially in retail.

o Get along well with team members, even if technically competing for sales
